This past Fall we were invited to give programs and retreats to various religious communities and retreat and ecological centers around the world. When we arrived in New Zealand our friend Fr. Peter Healy arranged for us to hike the famous 4 day Milford Trek . Here we are at the top of McKinnon Pass .
During our three month 'round the world' venture of giving retreats and conferences we carried all of our wordly possessions on our backs! This was a good lesson in showing us how little we really need!
This is the amazing Fox Glacier in New Zealand where we had some time to study the effects of climate change on the recession and advance of glaciers.
This is "Wee Mary" from Korimako Ecological Learning Center in the southernmost part of the south island in New Zealand.
Wee Mary was rejected by her mother and needed to be hand fed 2x a day. Korimako is run by Dominican sister Judith Robinson who invited us to the center as part of our 'round the world' journey this past fall of giving retreats and conferences.
