We have been singing that beautiful song by Dan Schutte- ”Come With Me Into the Fields” as we are in the midst of the harvest; bringing in apples, storing wood and canning food for the winter ahead.
Here at the monastery we celebrate the dignity of labor and are grateful to be engaged with the land and gardens, greenhouse and forests during these summer months. All of this keeps us and our volunteers in good shape!!!
